About the role
Keep customer robots running on-site across Texas City, TX — install, service, troubleshoot, and repair deployed service robots. $21–$25/hour DOE.
What you’ll do
- Install and commission service robots at customer sites across the Texas City area, then confirm they run before you leave.
- Log every visit, part, and fix and coordinate with the remote support team so the next tech has a clean account history.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and network faults using hand tools, diagnostics, and wiring diagrams.
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot commercial robots and related equipment on-site — cleaning units, delivery bots, AMRs, and cameras.
- Run scheduled preventive maintenance, firmware updates, and part swaps on a route of nearby accounts.
What we need
- Comfortable reading a wiring diagram and swapping parts without hand-holding.
- You explain a fix to a customer in plain words, not jargon.
- 1+ years hands-on field service, mechanical/electrical repair, or equipment maintenance.
- Mechanical or electrical competency and comfort using hand tools for basic troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, dependable transportation, and willingness to travel across the Texas City region for client visits.
- Pay is $20–$25/hour DOE. Full-time, in-person field role based out of Texas City, TX.
Who you’d be joining
Service Robot Co. rents commercial service robots and services them on-site — rented, deployed, and maintained across all 50 US states, dispatched from the nearest hub. The work here is the field: the people who set the machines up, keep them running, and answer for the downtime.
