The two most common robot deployments on construction sites are scrubbers on large concrete slabs and camera trailers for outdoor site security. Floor scrubbers go in when a building is at the point where a hard floor exists and needs to be kept clean — during interior finishing or post-construction handoff prep. The math works because a robot covers ground overnight that would otherwise take multiple crew members hours, without the safety exposure of night-shift cleaning on an active site.

Large floor plans are the defining constraint in facilities work. A single scrubber covers ground at a consistent pace, on the same schedule, every night — without fatigue, without call-outs, and without the coordination overhead of a cleaning crew working a multi-building campus. The large-area scrubber is the unit we see most in facilities deployments: it is sized for large open floor plates, quiet enough to run in occupied spaces, and reliable enough to run unattended.
