BellaBot is the cat-faced, four-tray restaurant serving robot made by Pudu Robotics. Service Robot Co. is a different kind of company. We pick the right machine for your dining room, lease it on a 3-year lease with a $1 buyout, deploy it, train your crew and service it.

What is BellaBot?

An independent review by Miguel Anton, dated July 15, 2026, describes BellaBot as a tray-transport robot that carries food across four trays. The review says it does not take orders. Source

What should you plan for with any serving robot?

The same review says BellaBot’s published path clearance is about 70 cm before an operating buffer. It calls that a technical figure, not a recommended restaurant design width.

The review says chairs, children, bags, queues and busy cross-traffic can interrupt routes, that trays are open with no temperature control, and that install quality, local support and software terms vary by distributor.

A security researcher wrote in August 2025 that Pudu’s robot management APIs lacked permission checks. On September 3, 2025 he added a correction: Pudu never received his first emails and was working on fixes. These are the author’s own accounts.

Robotics 24/7 reported in August 2026 that the FCC added foreign-produced advanced robotic devices to its Covered List. The rule applies by country of production, and analysts quoted expect existing approved models to stay available.

Where does it fit on your site?

Which restaurants suit a four-tray runner?

Miguel Anton’s July 2026 review says BellaBot suits busy venues with long, repeatable routes between kitchen, stations and tables, such as family dining, hot-pot venues and buffets. It lists small cafes, narrow or congested rooms, steps between service areas and outdoor routes as poor fits. Measure your longest route and your tightest aisle before you decide. We do that at the site assessment. Source

What setup does the floor need?

The review puts BellaBot’s published path clearance at about 70 cm before a buffer, and says that is a technical figure, not a recommended design width. It adds that open trays lack temperature control and that the robot does not take orders. Plan wider aisles, a docking spot and a place to rest when a table is blocked. We plan these with your manager. Source

What do your staff keep doing?

Staff keep greeting, ordering, plating and checking tables. The review says restaurants that redesign the workflow around the robot release staff for guest service, while those that park it in the kitchen gain little. We train your crew on loading, sending, clearing and restarting so the robot becomes part of the shift, not a novelty. Keep a short card at the station with the restart steps. Source

What does week one look like?

We measure your aisles, mark the route from kitchen to tables, set the docking spot and check Wi-Fi at every stop. On install day we run real orders with your servers. In the first weeks we watch where chairs, children or queues interrupt the route and adjust. One company handles the rollout and answers the phone afterwards, so you are not sorting install quality out with a distributor.

Why talk to an integrator first?

Going direct to one maker gets you that maker’s machine. Service Robot Co. starts from your site instead. We pick the right machine for it, lease it to you, deploy it, train your team and service it. One company owns the result.

How does the lease work?

A 3-year lease with a $1 buyout at the end. You see the terms before you commit.

  1. Assess

A free site assessment of the floors, routes and hours you want to cover. We look at the layout, the people and the work.

  2. Lease

We pick the right machine for your site and quote a 3-year lease with a $1 buyout at the end.

  3. Deploy and train

We map the site, set the routes and no-go areas and train your team to run the robot day to day.

  4. Service

One number when something stops. Support, service engineers, check visits and a warranty are listed below.

What should you ask before you sign?

Ask these of BellaBot, of us, or of anyone selling you a robot.

  1. Who installs it and who services it in my state? The review says install quality and support vary by seller.
  2. What are the software terms, and do any fees come with them?
  3. What happens to my robot if the maker’s rules or approvals change?
  4. Who owns the robot data and how is access to it controlled?
  5. Can the maker show me the fix history for the reported API issue?
  6. What is my plan when chairs, children or queues block a route?
  7. Who trains my crew, and who retrains new hires?
  8. Can I switch to a different machine if my floor does not suit this one?

Who should go direct to BellaBot instead?

Going direct is the right call for some buyers. We would rather say so than take a lease that does not fit.

  • You already know you want BellaBot and have an organized floor with clear routes.
  • You are comfortable owning install, crew training and support yourself.
  • You only need table-to-kitchen tray running, not other jobs.
  • If no robot fits your site yet, we will say so at the assessment.
