Updated October 2026
LionsBot is a Singapore robotics company that makes commercial floor-cleaning robots, including the R12 Rex Scrub. Service Robot Co. is a different kind of company. We pick the right cleaning robot for your floors, lease it on a 3-year lease with a $1 buyout, deploy it, train your team and service it.
Who is LionsBot?
KentOnline described LionsBot in 2022 as a Singapore tech firm that makes a vacuum robot used at a UK hospital. Source
Anton Robots describes the R12 Rex Scrub as a heavy-duty autonomous scrubber built for very large hard-floor environments. Source
Service Robot Co. is not affiliated with LionsBot, and this page is not from LionsBot.
What should you ask before choosing a cleaning robot?
Outside sources, quoted and linked. Check each point on your own sites.
KentOnline reported in November 2022 that at a UK hospital, one worker called a LionsBot vacuum robot “useless at vacuuming”
An independent Anton Robots review of the R12 Rex Scrub says the current listed charging time of 8 to 10 hours is long relative to several newer autonomous scrubbers.
Where does it fit on your site?
Where does a large scrubber like the R12 Rex fit?
Anton Robots says the R12 Rex Scrub is built for very large hard-floor environments such as airports, shopping centres, warehouses and exhibition spaces. It is a large machine, and the review says it is not for small shops, narrow corridors or heavily partitioned areas. Measure your doors, turning space and water access before you shortlist anything this size. We start from your floor plan and cleaning window. If a large machine is right we say so, and if your site is mostly narrow runs we say that instead. Source
How does charging shape the schedule?
The same review lists 8 to 10 hours of charging and up to 8 hours of runtime. That points to overnight charging and a day or night route built around it. If your site cleans around the clock, ask about extra batteries or a second machine. A charging plan belongs in the lease conversation, not after go live. We schedule routes, battery swaps and water refills with your crew before the robot arrives. Source
What do the spec discrepancies mean for you?
Anton Robots reports that LionsBot documents disagree on runtime, weight and sensor range, and advises asking for one dated technical document tied to the exact revision supplied. Whatever robot we pick for your site, we write the specification into the lease paperwork so there is one source of truth. This is a fair question for any maker. We would rather your lease reference a single current document than a pile of brochures. Source
What about front-of-house vacuum robots?
LionsBot also makes vacuum robots for carpet and public corridors. The 2022 KentOnline report shows how staff at a hospital reacted when a robot slowed foot traffic. Trial any robot with the staff who share the corridor, at the hours it will really run. Reports like this are one person's view of one site in one year, so we use them as questions to test, not as verdicts. Source
Why talk to an integrator first?
Going direct to one maker gets you that maker’s machine. Service Robot Co. starts from your site instead. We pick the right machine for it, lease it to you, deploy it, train your team and service it. One company owns the result.

Service
One number when something stops. Support, service engineers, check visits and a warranty are listed below.
What should you ask before you sign?
Ask these of LionsBot, of us, or of anyone selling you a robot.
- Which exact model and hardware revision is quoted, and is there one dated spec sheet for it?
- How long does the robot charge, and does that fit my cleaning window?
- Who handles service locally, and what is the response time?
- Which software features carry recurring fees, and what is free?
- Do I need the optional refuel station or water point for unattended operation?
- Which of my floors, ramps and door widths are outside what the machine handles?
- What happens to my support if the local seller changes?
- Who trains my crew, and how often is training refreshed?
RoboCare™
Service nationwide.
- 24/7 support.
- 10-minute technical-specialist triage.
- Regional service engineers in every state we service.
- 3 check visits a year.
- 12-month warranty.
Who should go direct to LionsBot instead?
Going direct is the right call for some buyers. We would rather say so than take a lease that does not fit.
- You run very large open hard-floor sites and have already chosen the R12 Rex Scrub.
- You want the maker as your single contact and will manage service yourself.
- You have an in-house team for mapping, training and routine checks.
- If no robot fits your site yet, we will say so at the assessment.
