Pudu Robotics is a Shenzhen-based maker of commercial service robots, including BellaBot. Service Robot Co. is a different kind of company. We pick the right machine for your site across brands, lease it on a 3-year lease with a $1 buyout, deploy it, train your crew and service it.
Who is Pudu Robotics?
Nikkei Asia reported on June 3, 2026 that Shenzhen-based Pudu Robotics is preparing a Hong Kong listing, with geopolitical tensions adding to supply chain costs and its CEO exploring overseas manufacturing. Source
The Robot Report described Pudu in 2022 as a Chinese developer of commercial service robots. Source
Service Robot Co. is not affiliated with Pudu Robotics, and this page is not from Pudu Robotics.
What do public sources say to check?
Outside sources, quoted and linked. Check each point on your own sites.
An independent review dated July 15, 2026 says installation quality, local support and software terms vary by distributor, and that a restaurant cannot wait weeks for a simple repair if it depends on the robot daily.
In July 2022 The Robot Report covered reported layoffs at Pudu, citing a leaked letter from its CEO. Pudu told the outlet it had been working on “regular organization optimization”
A security researcher wrote in August 2025 that Pudu’s robot management APIs lacked authentication checks. His September 3 update says Pudu never received his first emails and began fixing the issues. These are the author’s own accounts and are not independently verified.
Where does it fit on your site?
Which jobs bring people to Pudu?
The Robot Report describes Pudu as a developer of commercial service robots, and the BellaBot review covers restaurant tray running. Searchers for the company name also include hotel, building and cleaning operators. Those are different jobs with different floors and traffic. Name the job first. Then choose a machine. We pick across brands, so the job decides the robot, not the other way round. Source
What does the floor have to give?
Anton’s review says installation quality, local support and software terms vary by distributor, and that real layouts need extra room beyond the published 70 cm path. Chairs, bags and queues can interrupt routes, and obstacle avoidance should not be treated as a safety guarantee. We map traffic and aisles at the site assessment and plan the route around them. Test the route on a busy evening, not a quiet morning. Source
What does a company-level check look like?
Nikkei Asia reports Pudu is preparing a Hong Kong listing and exploring overseas manufacturing. A maker’s supply chain and corporate plans affect parts and support over a multi-year lease. Ask any maker where parts ship from and how long they stay in the catalog. Our service claims cover your site: 24/7 support with 10-minute specialist triage, regional service engineers in every state we service, three check visits a year and a 12-month warranty. Source
What does week one look like?
We walk the site, choose the job, mark routes or cleaning zones, and check charging and Wi-Fi. On install day we run the first routes with your crew. In the first weeks we check where the robot stalls, adjust, and retrain anyone who needs it. One company runs the rollout, so install quality and support do not depend on a distributor’s terms.
Why talk to an integrator first?
Going direct to one maker gets you that maker’s machine. Service Robot Co. starts from your site instead. We pick the right machine for it, lease it to you, deploy it, train your team and service it. One company owns the result.

What should you ask before you sign?
Ask these of Pudu Robotics, of us, or of anyone selling you a robot.
- Who is the distributor, and who services it in my state?
- How long will this model stay in the catalog, and how long are parts supported?
- Where do parts ship from, and how long does a repair take?
- Are there software or cloud fees?
- Who owns the data and map the robot collects?
- How does the maker respond to a researcher’s security report?
- Can I switch to a different machine if my layout does not suit this one?
- Who trains my crew and retrains new hires?

Who should go direct to Pudu Robotics instead?
Going direct is the right call for some buyers. We would rather say so than take a lease that does not fit.
- You already know you want a Pudu robot and only need that one maker.
- You are comfortable owning install, crew training and support terms yourself.
- You want one maker’s whole range, from delivery to cleaning.
- If no robot fits your site yet, we will say so at the assessment.
