A turf dealer sells you a machine. Service Robot Co. runs a program: we pick the right robot mower for your course, put it on a 3-year lease with a $1 buyout, deploy it, train your crew and service it, with 24/7 support with 10-minute specialist triage. It is the same mowing with less work landing on your staff.

Who does what after the robot arrives?

Every robot mower needs the same jobs done. The question is who does them. Ask any seller the third column.

How does the lease program work?

An autonomous fairway mower on a coastal golf course
  1. Pick

We walk the course with your superintendent, learn the fairways, the play schedule and the crew, and pick the machine that fits. If none fits yet, we say so.

  2. Lease

One 3-year lease with a $1 buyout at the end. We quote it after the site visit, before you commit to anything.

  3. Deploy

We map the fairways, mark the no-go areas, place the charger, set the mowing hours with your superintendent and train your crew.

  4. Service

One call when something stops: 24/7 support with 10-minute specialist triage, regional service engineers in every state we service, three check visits a year and a 12-month warranty.

What work lands on your crew?

In the USGA Green Section Record, superintendents called the first year of robotic mowing a learning process. They named getting power to the course, adapting to new maintenance, and new tools and parts for the technician.

The article adds that blades need regular changes and that a designated staff member may be needed as more robots arrive. That is the work a program takes on.

When is a turf dealer the right call?

  • You want to own one machine from day one and your technician will run it.
  • You already have a dealer you trust and a crew that wants to learn the robot.
  • You want to try a single unit before deciding anything bigger.

Who is the lease program not for?

  • Courses that want only the machine, with no program around it.
  • Courses that only want a price list. We quote after the site visit.
  • Courses where no machine fits yet. We say so, before you commit to anything.
